First, I will tell you how I create. 

I receive my ideas by stepping away from my own thoughts, in a meditative state, to listen to a higher Source.  In other words, I follow my heart while conceiving as well as executing a painting. After we speak at length, on a video chat, I will only work on your art in a high state of receptivity while focusing on you and your intension for the painting.  I do this through meditation and energy work. 

This maintains complete integrity to my work of creating an energetic portal for you.  The true value of my work is not the actual painting but what it can do for you. 

Generally, I spend much more time in the conception phase than the actual painting process.  This is why I ask for two months to complete a commission.   It could be sooner, but I give myself the time to do it right and to allow your ideas to grow to maturity.  Your painted portal is a gateway to your intension, and will have the ability to positively affect your life.

I love to create paintings for those who want to use their own body or that of a loved one as subject matter.  These are very powerful and I encourage you to do so. They can be idealized or depicted in any number of ways to convey the desired message.

The nude body is beautiful and majestic in its ability to express messages and I generally do not cover it up. There are, however, a few exceptions I would consider. 

I paint from photos.  If you have a photograph you want me to use, and you own the copyright, I will work from that reference. If I need to create new photos for your painting, we can discuss photographer and model costs. 

In the case of nude art, your identity and any submitted photographs will be kept completely private.  I will be contractually bound to destroy any nude photos of you once I am finished painting.  


So, after our initial email discussion we will speak face to face on a video platform like Skype or FaceTime about your desired project for about an hour.  It’s very important for me to get to know you and your desired intension for the painting. I also want you to understand how I create art. 

If, after the video consultation, either of us decides not to go ahead with the commissioned painting, you will be able to use the $500 towards any product offered on this website. It is non-refundable because you are buying my time.  If you do decide to hire me, the $500 is applied toward the price of the commissioned painting.

If I choose to work with you, it will be only after I know that you understand my method of creation.  Trust the process and know that if you or I dictate too many elements, then the finished work is just a painting and not a portal. You will be able to input you desires, intentions, subject matter, color suggestions, etc.  
 
Note: The only way I will refuse a commission is if I feel you do not sufficiently understand or accept my method of creating a painting; or, if what you want is too far outside my stylistic parameters. This possibility, however, can most likely be determined in the email exchange, before you pay the $500. 

Please know that I am here to shatter what currently passes as acceptable and I love to explore.  My work goes very deep down the rabbit hole.  I look forward to the challenges you may present to me and the fun we can have together in this creation. 
 
Payment terms:  A non-refundable fee of $500, will be paid up front for the face to face video meeting with me.  It will be applied toward the price of your original painting. 
In order for me to begin the work, you will pay 50% of the remaining costs of the painting (less the $500 consulting fee).  Once I finish your painting, you will pay the remaining 50% plus shipping.  I will fully insure the painting for shipping and will cover all packing costs.  I package my paintings with great care so they cannot be punctured,  touched by any of the packing material and arrive safely.  There are certain countries I may not be able to ship to. We'll determine that in the beginning of the process.

Depending on the thickness of the paint, I will determine when I feel it is sufficiently dry to ship. I always mix a medium into my paints that greatly speeds drying but I use very high quality oil paints using thick impasto strokes and will not ship before it is dry to the touch.  When you receive the painting be very careful not to touch the front for at least a month.  Oils can literally take over a year to fully dry.
 
I will retain all copyright and reproduction rights to the painting.  If you want to reproduce it in any way, you may buy the rights from me.
